Permissioned users can create network associations using the Network tool in Velos eResearch Enterprise.
Note: Organizations must be added prior to creating a network. To learn more about organizations, see Organizations.
Warning: Networks and network associations cannot be deleted once created. If you would like to remove a network or network association, the organization network status must be set to “Inactive”. Networks only apply to organizations with “Active” status.
To create a new network:
1. Navigate to the network page and click the Show/Hide button next to the “Click here to view the list of organizations” text.
A list of all configured organizations displays on the left side of the screen:
2. Select the organization that you would like to be the Network (parent) by clicking the checkbox next to its name.
3. After the organization has been selected, click the Create Network button.
Note: The network (parent) must be created as an organization first, and then designated as a network.
